Finished L.A. Noire, help!?

Just solved all the main story cases and after the credits I was back at the game menu screen. When I choose "resume" it takes me back to the last case where I head to the tunnels. I still have not finished all the side cases or discovered the landmarks which I would like to do right now but can't. Anyone know how?
