Things to do and see in England?

Obviously there are many things to be done on a trip to the UK, but has anyone got any suggestions to some MUST DO's? I would love any ideas on places to visit, landmarks to see, stores to shop at, activities to do. Anything really. And anywhere around England. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks (:
