I want to stop watching the news, reading the newspaper but i can't. Please help?

International news is OK, but the local stuff is pure shite. The worst thing about it is that I have a crush on many of the female news readers, and they are getting paid to fill my mind with pure shite. Evil agendas, Rupert Murdoch, commercialism, marketing, distraction, corporate brainwashing- it's all there.
