Is there a website that will tell you mileage by following cursor along a map?

I'd like to find distances that I've been running/ biking. Is there a website that will give you the mileage traveled judging on the distance on a map that you run the cursor along? I use trails instead of roads for some of my distances so it's hard to judge by the distance given between one landmark to another on most map websites where you can get directions.
