How do i know if i have ADD or ADHD?

The reason your mom says that is because a lot of the time if people have ADD or ADHD especially, they may have more trouble focusing on schoolwork. For example, my best friend actually has BOTH ADD and ADHD, and her grades have never been all that great. However, I know another girl with ADD who is on honor roll at school, so it depends on the person. From what you have said, it is still totally possible that you could have ADD. Try to get your mom to get you tested for it, if you have it there are ways for them to diagnose you. If it's restraining you from living your life the way you want to, you can take pills for it to help, but that's a matter of your parents and your own decision/preference. Hope that helps!
