Should I talk about it?

I am so interested in military. I talk to the guys in my class about it sometimes. I feel that if I talk about when they are around they will make fun of me and stop being my friends because they say and I quote "We hate military freaks." and I feel if I talk about it just the slightest bit they will think I am a military freak. What should I do?
