Classical guitar book recommendation?

Arron Shearer's Guitar Technique Vol. 1. While the Royal Conservatory of Music is an excellent graded (meaning progressively harder) series of books, it is repertoire and studies only, providing no instructional material on technique or posture. Shearer's method (and Fredric Noad's more exhaustive method) provide both repertoire, studies, and basic technical guidance and have been standards for many years.
