Anyone know the origin of the Ku Klux Klan movement?

The Ku Klux Klan started after the fall of the confederacy after the civil war in Pulaski, Tennessee. In 1915 it was reborn in Georgia. The KKK was then as we know it in the 1950's with the Civil Rights movement.
